Gamine--the best little piglet ever
That is the song I would sing to her. My very first puppy, my baby frenchie and I loved her with all of my heart. It was so tragic and sad to see her go, as she was 1 week shy of her 3rd birthday.
She was an extra-snorty piglet and was such a clown. I brought her to my practice every day and patients loved playing with and petting her. She would go up and give them kisses as they were lying on the table. She didn't have a tail, but wagged her butt when I came home and gave me a million kisses as if she thought I'd never come back.
"Gamine" means "playful little girl" in French, and there is no better way to describe my baby. She was my rock when I left my partner, and helped me through some of the toughest times in my life. We were a "package deal," and it was me and Gamine.
My heart aches for her and I miss her terribly already. It is so quiet in the house now -- no snoring, and no waking up to her sighs or snorty snorts. I know she is an angel now, looking down and snorting away.
I miss you, Baby Boo Bears, forever in my heart.
