Well, what could I possibly say to describe a creature like you?
I know many people say that their pet was the most special or the most kind-hearted and I am absolutely positive they were. But you, you were unequivocally unique in spirit and heart and most of all loyalty. You never once showed anger towards me when I regretfully showed it towards you. You stayed by my side when times were lonely and you were my constant companion on those perfect Friday evenings with nothing but a bag of popcorn and an old movie.
I would not say you were almost human, it would be an insult. You were far more in worth than any human I have come to know. You were the epitome of goodness, every kind of good there is in this world and you were my best friend. Not in a "human" sense but in the light of only that which could be considered God.
Thank you for all the good times you gave me and the memories I'll never forget. Time may pass, I'll undeniably get older, but you I'll always remember. This is just a small thank you I can give you for all the years you gave me.
Many people, I've heard ask, question if dogs go to heaven. For me, that answer is a strong ABSOLUTELY. So, I hope that your time in heaven is as enjoyable as the time I had here with you.
With all my heart, a simple thank you and I love you.
