If I had known that today our time was near the end
I would have done things differently, my forever friend.
I would have stayed right next to you every moment today
and cherished each one and held you as you passed away.
But I thought I'd see you in the morning sun ...
coming for your kisses and doggy massage and bowing
while looking at me with your love filled brown eyes
Instead I passed by as you napped on the floor,
not knowing for a second I wouldn't get your licks anymore.
I wasn't thinking of the time when I’d see you no more.
You were just a baby full of energy and life.
But if I had one inkling that our time was at the end
I would have done things so differently, my forever friend. ♡

There are no words to describe how I feel, or any of us feel. I lost my sister, my best friend.

Sadie Lady, you were and still are an amazing little doggy. I go to dad's and still try to look for you.

You will ALWAYS be in my heart and my mind. We will meet again. Fly high Sadie and watch over all of us, including your brother, and 2 sisters, Joe, Molly, and Bella.

i know your last is far too heavy to you right now, but think of the happy times you have to cherish. We don't have the answers, but God let her go where she was the happiest, dreaming of another day!

I'm sure she'll be with you in every way when you sleep, when you wake. Her spirit will be in you forever! Please remember, she wouldn't want you sad.

Some day you'll meet up again, tail wagging and licking your face. This is how she remembers you, with lots of love, the same way you always loved her.

Fly high, Sadie. We'll see you in clouds and stars everywhere.

There are no words In the dictionary that could neatly sum up the insurmountable affection that Sadie gave to others. Nor are there any for the love you gave to her. I know, without any doubt, that she knows how much she was and will always be loved.

Life will truly never be the same without her. I believe when something that special departs our world, life shouldn't be the same.

Her life will always be remembered and carried on through you and the famlily for many years to come. One day, in due time, we will all reunite again. ❤️

I am so sorry to read of the loss of your friend, companion and family member. God did not want to wake her from her slumber to tell you, in her own way, for the good of both you and her.

She died feeling as comfortable as she had felt in life. Surrounded by your love, the warmth of her home, the familiar beloved smells and knowing that she was always loved.
