Such a young dog, gone. It happened so quickly. He was the happiest dog on the planet, and now he's gone. I put him in his room for the night, 1 am he woke me up, I brought him outside, he threw up all his dinner and white foam. The next morning, 3 puddles of foam.
I could tell he was sad. He had a stroke, inflammation of his stomach, bacteria got into his blood stream, blood spewed out of his rectum, he was brought back to life once by the caring vets and technicians at Newton Vet Hospital, NJ.
He began breathing on his own and 15 minutes later, he stopped breathing and i had to let him go.
I thank the vets for all their hard work overnight in trying to save him. He was 2 years 23 days old. I'll miss you, Reks.
