My beloved Princess,

I wasn't ready to lose you. You were my loyal and faithful companion. Remained by my side during my darkest hours. Filled my life with joy and expectation.

My heart aches so much for not having you next to me. I miss your little body next to mine in the nights, the warmth of it on my lap every time you had a chance to sit there.

I remember coming home and watching you at the window, waiting for me, and how you jumped for joy when I opened the door. I remember every morning when I woke up and heard the little bell on your collar announcing that you were ready to follow me around the house.

There are many fond memories of you that will be locked in my heart forever. I only wish more people were like you. It's really hard being here without you, but I only wait for the time when we will reunite in a better place forever.
