In Loving Memory of Our Little Angel

It was 14 years ago that you entered our home and our hearts. We can still remember it like it was yesterday. You came out so tiny and fragile from that little kennel. Your eyes could barely open when you looked at us, but in that instant you melted our hearts and became the smallest member of our family.

From that day, you have brought us so much of joy, love and happiness. You truly lived up to your name, for you were treated like a Princess and surely behaved like one.

Though many people and strangers thought that you were a little dynamite, we, your family, were the only ones who knew your true and tender nature. You never let your size get in the way of wanting to protect us from anything you feared was a threat to us. You would've given your life for us and we would've given ours for you.

We want you to know that we love you so much. We will miss the sound of your little footsteps walking around the house, the way you looked at us with love and care, how you spoke and listened to us and how you were always there for us in our sad moments.

Princess, we have truly treasured these 14 years that you have been with us. We would give anything to bring you back and to be able to hold you in our arms again, but we know that you are happy and without pain in heaven right now.

We're left with heartaches and grief, but know that you will never be forgotten because your spirit will live in our hearts forever.

Love,
Nathan (Dad), Jackie (Mum), Ian, Tania & Mary

I am sorry for your loss. Your dog looked so much like my little Ginger, who died one year ago yesterday.

Only someone who has lost a precious pet knows the heartache that goes with the loss.
