I thought of you with love today, and that is nothing new.
I thought of you yesterday and days before that too.
I think of you in silence, I often speak your name.
Now all I have are memories, and your picture in a frame.
Your memories are my keepsake, from which I will never part.
God has you in his keeping, I have you in my heart.

I lost my Lexi over a year ago. She still touches my heart.

I know just how you feel. We lost our lab/Shepherd mix, Humphrey, a year ago in May. It still makes me sad when I look at the spot where he is buried, or his pictures in my house.

We rescued a sweet yellow lab who loves us to death, but there is still a place in my heart that misses my big goofy guy so much. <3
