You meant more to us than you could ever know. Cody, Roozie, PuppaRoo, Codyie, Codyio, Bony Bonz.

Snorting, howling, speaking, jumping, high five. A gentle kiss. Company on a lonely night. The shine on a sunny day. You kept us together, you were our son, you were our smile on a sad day. You helped us get through tragedy, always steady. When we needed you most you were always there.

Simply, you are Love. You are our love we will never forget. You will live on in our hearts for the rest of our days, until we meet again. Our sweet boy, we love you.

My Beloved Koda

To My Beloved Koda……

Koda, it’s been less than a day and I miss you so very much. My heart is aching. I miss those beautiful eyes so filled with life and love.

As I held you in my arms, I did not want to let you go. You took your last breath and I wanted to hold on to you forever. Your body gave up, but your beautiful spirit lives and dwells in heavenly places with Almighty God your creator.

I thank God for giving me 11 ½ years with you. Koda, you were an amazing gift from God. You gave me so much joy, you made me laugh, you encouraged me and gave me a smile instead of tears.

Koda, you laughed with me and even danced with me. You were my best friend and companion. I will always cherish the special walks that we went on and the pack of horses that came toward us.

You loved my cooking and we shared many meals together. Most importantly, we prayed together. Through the good times and the difficult times, Koda, you stood by me and gave me your unconditional, heartfelt love.

I love you and will miss you so very much. One day I will meet you again and see you in heaven.
