Always happy
You've been gone for a while and a lot of things have changed. But you're still the greatest part of my growing up. I'm so happy to have known you, and so happy that you were so happy, even in your final year.
It may have taken a while for you to warm up to us, being a rescue dog. But you quickly went from hyperactive pup to the protector of the family in no time. In many ways, even though you weren't in charge, you were the leader of our pack. Our family was lucky to have you.
You were my best friend when I was little and I celebrated your life in a tattoo. You waited by the door from elementary school, to high school, and even through college for me to get home, and you never failed to look so happy to see me, regardless of how late I was.
The family and vet have raised lots of money in donations (in your name) for the SPCA (where you were given a second chance at family) and for the only veterinary program in Canada.
You're still doing good for the world. <3
To my best friend, Molly, you will always hold a place in my heart.
