Me and Buster
My son Frank wanted a Beagle pup to hunt with. So on Aug. 4th 2001 I got him Buster. He was a great family member and a good hunter. We all had many years of fun and joy with him.
I took him for rides in the truck and took many pics of him over the years. He gave me kisses all the time. We took him for runs in the field. He had some playmates-Harley, Grandma Jessie, and Shiloh.Buster, he was top dog though, and I think he knew this!
In later years my son Frank moved away from home but he left his dog Buster with me. We were inseparable. Harley and Grandma Jessie passed at the young age of 7. Buster loved playing with BaBa's-a pop bottle. He and Shiloh were great friends.
September 2014 we got some sad news at the vet. Buster had an enlarged liver and heart and had heart failure. He was put on meds. He quit eating dog food. Instead he ate salmon, baked potatoes, boiled eggs, chicken, talophie, beef and chicken liver, green beans, rice and many other foods.
On September 20th one of my best friends and our family member went to the Rainbow Bridge. Some day we will meet him there.
Run free Buster!
